@doodaboo123 she looks black
@drgangster809n isnt that dania woman an afro dominican
this is true if u watch telemundo or univision soap operas they always show latinos as being white they show darker browner latinos as being drug dealers, housekeepers etc. btw im brown mexican
So its like ten times worst then not being represented, I mean who want to be represented as slaves and protitutes? For that I prefer non respresentation but that’s in brazil.
And girl if you think telemundo afro latino representation is shocking think a again after yu watch brazilian tv shows and soap operas! They portrait afro brazilians as slaves and prostitutes in soap operas and shows
@drgangster809n Its not all wonderful in latin america there’s plenty of racism
afro latinos probably don’t complain much cuz the racial division in latin america wasn’t much I mean in latin america black whites and indigenous people get along well and have the same culture, a white dominican listens to merengue a black dominican listens to merengue an indigenous dominican also listen to merengue, not like in america where there was a strong racial division between black whites and even the native americans SMH at the U.S
And another thing I get mad at is how univision only portraits mexican like if they were the only hispanics! Tell me how this dominican girl works in el gordo y la flaca and she talks like mexican accent, now that is unacceptable.
And to answer why these afro latinos don’t complain, is because they’ve been brainwash into the steriotype that black is ugly which is not, but that’s why they don’t complain, when spaniard colonized america slavery wasn’t as rough in latin countries as in the U.S which was the baddest most rough slavery in the world. And the whites and slave got along very well in latin america, I think that can be another reason
I just mention my family racial make up so yall can see typical latino familes are not just euro latino
