more black modles that are represenatives of the majority of black females. Which means not beyonce but not alek wek or oluchi either. I’m talking about the black woman that you would commonly see on a day to day basis.

    1. More real black women who haven’t been lightened by makeup, lightening creams or are totally light. Dark-skinned.

    2. More black families.

    3. More black people doing positive things or in high level jobs.

    4. Positive dark-skinned black males who aren’t gangsters, ball players, rappers, singers or actors (Nothing wrong with them, but it helps people to know that we can do or be anything as long as we stand together as a community).

    5. Discussions about race relations and ways to improve the communication between black men and women without insulting one another.

Image wise I would like to see the spectrum from darkest brown to lightest light skin tones. After all we share characteristics of all races and not all races share characteristics with us.

I am more geared to Urban studies, how institution treats Africans, African American, and related African diaspora in the world.
I would like to read how the states regard education, policy making, and the over all treatment of African American and other American minority groups.
I am interested in the views of other countries and their treatment of African diaspora with regards to education, freedoms(or lack of freedoms such as in the Arab realms) , policy making, improvements and advancements.. or lack of advancements.
I am interested in the cultures that exist and that are different from the stereotypes promoted by news media, consumer agencies, and entertainment industry.
I would love to see the advancements beyond history such as current advancements that are not met by the media..
I am also interested in the hospitalities of north south, central, midwest and etc.. in African American cultures. ..Not just the North vs. the South which dominates quite a few popular prefab mags.
My daughter is mixed with both..and my family is mixed,
claiming descent from Africa and not having more than a few other races mixed in is extremely rare.. extremely extremely rare..
so I support showing everyday African descent American images..
not pre-categorized styles…Thanx for the question..!
Hmm as far as the price…goes.. competitive with other magazines of similar caliber…or what ever will cover your overhead…
with content on African Americans or Hispanics.. remember your audience will also be businesses / government agencies that are closely affiliated with those groups as well…

Grape soda, large butts, and lowriders.

Got something to say?
