Are Hispanic & Latino of the same race/ethnicity group?
I talk to people from Mexico and other Spanish speaking counties all the time online and I hear some say they are Hispanic and others say they are Latino.
Are Hispanic & Latino of the same race/ethnicity group?
If not. What is the basic differences?

tHEY AREN’T A RACE, THERE ARE BLACKIE HISPANICS AND WHITE HISPANICS.
Lol, hispanic and latino arent racial terms. They are very broad terms to describe ppl who com from South America, Latin America and the caribbean of spanish culture. They can b of any race most are of mixed ancestry or natives. Mexicans are basically Natives. Most Dominicans are of African ancestry but mixed with native blood. Most Puerto Ricans are mixed equally with Spainard (European), Taino (Native) and African blood. Some are white, some black etc.
Ppl from Spain are in fact spanish ppl but they are not “hispanics”. They are Spainards. Most of them are white (race).
1. Latino – Person from Latin America. (not all “Latinos” are hispanics since some people from Latin America don’t speak Spanish). Latino is not really an ethnicity or culture since anyone can come from Latin America. Original Latinos were Europeans…
2. Hispanic – originally, it means of Spain. Hispanics are Native Spanish speaker, usually from Latin America or Spain. ( not all people from Spanish speaking Latin America countries are Hispanic since they’re are some Asian and non Spanish European Immigrants, and Amerindians who have their own languages. They don’t claim Hispanic.) Hispanic is a ethnicity/culture…
Hispanics, from Latin America, are Latinos…anyways these terms are usually used in America…and have changed over time…
