    Not much, except maybe the country you hail from.

    I guess the languages have different dialects and mixes with native peoples.

    No difference. Hispanic is said by the people who speak English and Latino is said by the Spanish speakers. Still speaking about the same group of people.

    Generally latinos are from Mexico and countries in South America, hispanics are from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Rep. but both words can be used, it really depends on the person and what they prefer. if you are in a position where you have to talk to or about someone, it’s better to find out what country they are from and refer to their nationality, Mexican, cuban, spanish, brazilian…
